Board of Trustees

As I reflected on the highlights of 2008 it is evident that Pomaria Primary School has once again out shone itself in all respects from our high levels of academic achievement in the classroom to the outstanding talents of our learners on the sport field and in the cultural arena. We as a school are proud of our accomplishments and our level of commitment.
"It is said that in our journey everyone leaves footprints... that our prints are made by the impressions of our lives on the sands of time”. At Pomaria School our learners are recognised by the weight of their character. This journey has been evident in our learners as they immerse themselves in the values of our school. These values have not just become lip service but values that have helped shape the character of our school and what it stands for. Our learners are known for their respect, honesty, truthfulness and compassion.
As Principal of Pomaria School, it is an honour to be associated with such a wonderful staff, incredible learners, visionary Board of Trustees and a supportive community. We are indeed blessed by the rich cultural diversity, which surrounds us.
To our Year 6 learners, I wish you every success in your future. May you approach the next phase of your education at Intermediate School with the same spirit and determination to be life long learners that you have become at Pomaria School.
As we draw near to the close of another year I wish you all a blessed Christmas and best wishes for 2009.
